Alaska Family Services

Alaska Family Services is a 90-strong organization committed to supporting Alaskan families and communities. Located in multiple sites across Wasilla, Palmer, Anchorage, Kenai, and Homer, they provide a wide range of supportive services including crisis response and shelter for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault, mental health and substance use counseling services, legal advocacy in collaboration with the court system, and family support services including childcare assistance, parenting classes, and work services. The organization operates from a values-based approach emphasizing trust, equity, community, family, and transformation.
