Airmid Counseling Services

Airmid Counseling Services is an outpatient agency located in East Orange, New Jersey that provides treatment for individuals suffering from substance abuse, co-occurring mental health disorders, and people infected with HIV/AIDS. The agency opened in July 2009 and offers a wide range of outpatient services including psychiatric evaluations, medication education and monitoring, case management, group and individual therapy, substance education, parenting classes, trauma groups, grief and loss groups, couples and family counseling, and substance abuse evaluations. Airmid's philosophy centers on providing a therapeutic environment that informs and inspires clients in developing better life skills through individualized recovery plans. The agency works with clients to identify SMART goal objectives and uses evidence-based interventions to support long-term abstinence from alcohol and other drugs.
