Addictions Recovery Center

Addictions Recovery Center, Inc. (ARC) is a non-profit organization with over 50 years of history serving individuals and families in Jackson County, Oregon. The organization began as the "Alcohol Rehabilitation Center" on a ranch near Grants Pass, founded by Mariam Kelley and her husband David to support veterans with alcohol addiction. It became a non-profit in the early 1970s and expanded to inpatient care for women by the end of that decade. Today, ARC operates nearly a dozen facilities across Jackson County and provides comprehensive services for substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related behavioral and human service issues. The organization emphasizes an integrated treatment approach for individuals with coexisting mental health and substance use issues, incorporating medications when appropriate alongside counseling and behavioral therapies.
