FLACRA (Finger Lakes Area Counseling & Recovery Agency) is a private, not-for-profit agency founded in 1973 serving individuals and their loved ones affected by substance use, mental health disorders, and overall health and well-being. The organization operates with a holistic, whole-person care model that incorporates physical and social healthcare services. FLACRA believes chemical dependency is a treatable disease and that those who receive treatment can return to a happy and healthy lifestyle. The agency provides compassionate, individualized, and strength-based treatment services designed to support recovery journeys. Services are available across Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Schuyler, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates counties in the Finger Lakes region. FLACRA's Connections program is a peer-led recovery initiative offering non-clinical health, wellness, skill-building, education, and art classes. The organization also provides treatment options including methadone for opioid use disorder as part of their comprehensive approach to substance use treatment.
