ABRAXAS Youth and Family Services

Abraxas delivers residential, community-based, and in-home services across child welfare, behavioral health, and substance use treatment, impacting more than 5,000 lives annually. Services include youth residential specialized treatment options, youth community-based in-home services ranging from truancy prevention to re-entry, adult inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment, accredited education programs with academic support and career readiness, and the Abraxas Unarmed gun violence education program. The organization takes a holistic, trauma-informed approach that recognizes the impact of adversity while promoting accountability, skill development, and emotional safety. Services are offered across multiple states and include withdrawal management, detention alternatives, family structure restoration, and DUI services.
