Project Ricochet, Inc. is a 501c3 community-based organization dedicated to supporting minority youth at risk of anti-social behaviors and involvement in the criminal justice system. The organization establishes and sustains a dedicated team of community development professionals who provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to youth involved in criminal activities. Project Ricochet provides tangible pathways for at-risk youth through youth-led entrepreneurial initiatives, innovative apprenticeships, job placements in local businesses, and financial incentives for those demonstrating commitment to transforming their lifestyles. The organization's mission is to establish an effective coalition of parents, grandparents, youth service providers, civic and community leaders, and faith-based leaders to incorporate a bottom-up approach to intervention related to reducing minority youth involvement in the criminal justice system. Project Ricochet also operates the Bet On You campaign, a community-driven initiative designed to empower individuals to make healthy, informed choices about gambling and self-care, with a focus on problem gambling prevention and mental wellness across Kentucky communities, especially among youth, veterans, and families.
